Classes

• Distance Classes in Marine Science for High School Students.
• K-6 Suitcase Lessons in Oceanography include lessons that illustrate: Salt in the Oceans, Earth Materials, and Icebergs and Sea Ice.
• The Ocean Science Station supports literacy programs. Adult students follow along as teachers and graduate students accompany a series of scientific voyages and post daily journals and reports.
• Oregon Sea Grant leads the K-12 education programs at HMSC, which have been a mainstay of Oregon public school enrichment experiences for more than 30 years.

Tours

• Wave Research Laboratory Outreach Program. The O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory outreach program for K-12 includes an introduction to basic wave mechanics as well as demonstrations of wave lab equipment and descriptions of past and current projects.
