Research Interests:
John S. Allen has been conducting research in physical oceanography since the early 1970s. Contributions have been made to the study of coastal shelf circulation processes through theoretical work, field experiments, data analysis and interpretation, and numerical modeling. Author or co-author of 92 scientific publications.
