Friends of the Beaver, AGU 2009
This year's Friends of the Beaver event will be on December 14, from 8 to 10 pm, at Gordon Biersch Brewery/Restaurant 2 Harrison Street, in San Francisco. Map to Gordon Biersch.
Last year's event was packed with over 100 COAS alumni, faculty, students and friends. Above, in a photo from last year's reunion, Rebecca Poulson (PhD, 2008) officially handed over the "Beaver of the Year" headwear to Jesse Muratli (MS, 2009?).

COAS Alumna Named OSU Alumni Fellow
Margaret Leinen, COAS alumna '76 in Geological Oceanography, has been selected as a OSU Alumni Fellow. She will be visiting the campus on October 31st which will include a Frontiers in Earth Science lecture and a career discussion with current students.
