Eligibility Requirements and Application Procedures
To be eligible to participate in Native Americans in Science, Engineering, and Natural Resources (NASENR), applicants must be undergraduate students regularly enrolled and in good academic standing at OSU. Neither advanced course work nor experience in a scientific field are required. Once accepted into NASENR, students must maintain an annual GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. Students must be able to supply tribal documentation.
Application
Write us a letter and include the following:

An explanation of why you want to take part in this program.

How the program relates to your academic program and career plans.

Briefly describe or identify academic areas that interest you.

Give your qualifications or any previous experience relevant to your interests.

Briefly explain your financial needs by describing how you are now financing your attendance at OSU.

Include a discussion of your involvement in your Native community.

Please submit a copy of your tribal enrollment or Native corporation membership.
Resume
Submit a resume describing your education, work experience, goals and qualifications.
Academic Record
Provide a copy of your academic record showing your courses, grades, and current GPA. The easiest way to do this is to get an unofficial copy of your transcript from the OSU online services, a Kiosk located throughout campus or from the Registrar's Office. For incoming freshman, please provide an official high school transcript.
Letters of Reference
Ask two people familiar with your qualifications and academic performance or potential to write a brief letter evaluating you for this program.
Deadline for Submission
There is no deadline for application to the program. Applications will be reviewed in the order that they are received. Please allow two weeks for a response
