Friday, July 17, 2009

5-8 pm. Alumni gathering under the tent in the Burt courtyard. Families are welcome. Hearty hors d'oeuvres. Wine and beer available. Displays inside on the first floor of Burt Hall.

9 pm. With a da Vinci Days' pass, gather in the VIP area to the left of the main stage for the festival music, featuring Cherry Poppin' Daddies.

1:30 pm COAS Alumni Group launch, Alumni Center

2-8 pm COAS Admin Building open for informal gathering, with coffee, snacks, and exhibits

10 am Students cook a pancake feed for alumni in the COAS Admin Building, allowing plenty of time to mingle. Until 12 noon.

'Missing' Alumni

We would like to invite all COAS alumni to come to the 50th reunion and anniversary. If you know the whereabouts of any of the people on this list, we would appreciate hearing.

COAS Alumni Association Launch

Alumnus Dr. David K. Rea, professor emeritus of geological sciences at Michigan University, has agreed to head up the launch of a COAS Alumni Group.

The new COAS Alumni Group will first convene at 1:30 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2009, in the Alumni Center, just after the 50th Anniversary and Reunion luncheon and keynote talk.
